Resourcepack will replace standard textures with 3D models. For example, some types of stone, ore and the same stairs with a preview will now have a full-fledged 3D texture, and sensibly made. There are not many models in total, so you should not expect a complete change of minecraft towards 3D here.
How to install a texture pack:
- Download the file and copy to .minecraft / resourcepacks
- Find “Resource Packs” in the game settings and select this pack.
